This season we will present our collection 'Reception' for Spring Summer 2020 in Amsterdam.

The concept for this collection is based on the story of 5 old friends who re-unite at a wedding of one of their grandchildren. They were friends during their youth but each of them ended up in a different part of the world with a completely different lifestyle. When they get back together after all those years and talk about their adventures from the past, they realize that although everything has changed, they are still the same old group of friends.

Our collection represents this unity within diversity, across borders. Each one of the elder people characterizes one of the five designers of RECONSTRUCT Collective. The designers have developed the collection from the perspective of their own elder character.
The collection will be presented during a fictive wedding reception on the perfect wedding date: 19/9/19 in Amsterdam. Modeled by real people from different age, size, lengths and ethnicities. The event will be open for the public, we don't do vips or front row, everybody is equally special.
