Hello,
We are the Partneracrobatic-duo Tom & Ayla and we want to create our Circus-Theater-Show „We are not a couple“, in which we combine circus with other artforms like dance and physical theater.
To make this possible, we need to rent a rehearsal space that is high enough for our discipline and hire a director.
By helping us realise our project you will get amazing rewards and infinite gratitude.

Why we want to make the show
Often after shows, we get the questions: "Are you a couple?", "Why not?".
These questions show us the general interest in our acrobatic relation.
We are a man and a woman working physically and close together and we deal with similar rules and expectations of relationships, but does this mean we should be a couple?
Based on this question we create a show about relations, expectations and clichés within.
Why circus?
Our circus discipline partner acrobatics, brought the question to daylight.
Circus will be the main tool in the show, because we can express ourselves the best.
Our discipline involves; trust, strength, concentration, fear, failure, patience, connection and responsibility. These topics are present in relationships as well.
Circus brings people from different generations, educations and cultures together and relation is something that everyone can relay to or knows.
That is why we combine circus with this topic, to bring the show close to the audience.
