Laat ik me eerst even voorstellen!
Ik ben Pip, 19 jaar en ik schrijf liedjes. Mijn grootste hobby is dan ook muziek en alles wat daarmee te maken heeft, ook vind ik voetballen heel leuk. Daarnaast werk ik in een supermarkt en in een ijssalon. Ook verdien ik wel eens wat bij als oppas.

Muziek was voor mij altijd een hobby en ik durfde niet eens de mogelijkheid te zien om het ook echt mijn werk te maken. Dat veranderde allemaal toen ik mijn vriend, Justin, leerde kennen die er wel zijn beroep van heeft gemaakt. Ik deed dat jaar ook mee aan The Voice of Holland en belandde in team Ilse deLange, ook zij heeft me laten zien dat niets onmogelijk is. Het is heel makkelijk om naar succesvolle mensen te kijken en te denken: 'wat hebben die mensen een geluk'. Natuurlijk komt er in dit vak wel wat geluk bij kijken, je moet wel de juiste mensen ontmoeten, maar voor 99% procent hangt het af van jouw instelling en hoe hard je werkt.

Mijn grote droom is om ooit een album op te nemen en een wereldtour te maken. Ik begon met een single, en ga nu een EP opnemen, dat lijken me zeker stappen in de goede richting!

Helaas komen er aardig wat kosten kijken bij zo'n EP. De tijd in de studio en het nabewerken van de liedjes, het maken van de albumhoes, het drukken van de CD en het huren van een zaaltje voor het grote feest wanneer hij af is. Een deel hiervan hebben we zelf al betaald, maar het resterende bedrag van 3000,- moeten we ergens vandaan zien te toveren.

Het zou onwijs gaaf zijn als er mensen zijn die een donatie willen geven aan dit project. Als bedankje heb ik een aantal leuke tegenprestaties bedacht die hier naast opgesomd zijn. Neem gerust een kijkje en misschien zit er wel iets tussen waar u heel blij van wordt.

Het feit dat u dit nu leest maakt mij alleen al blij, want dat betekent dat u in ieder geval de moeite heeft genomen om mijn project te bezoeken.

Let me introduce myself!
I'm Pip, 19 years old and I write songs. My biggest hobby is music and everything related to it. I also work in a supermarket and an ice cream parlor.

Music was always just a hobby for me and I didn't even dare to think of it being my job one day. That all changed when I met my boyfriend, Justin, who does make music for a living. That year I was a contestant in The Voice of Holland and ended up in team Ilse de Lange, she also showed me that nothing is impossible. It's very easy to look at successful people and think: 'These people are so lucky. ' Of course, in this branche, you need a little bit of luck and you need to mee the right people, but 99% percent of the time it depends on your attitude and how hard you work.

My big dream is to record an album one day and go on a world tour. I started with a single, and now I'm going to record an EP, it's babysteps, but definitely in the right direction!

Unfortunately, it costs a lot of money to record and release music. Studiotime, mixing and mastering the songs, making an album cover, the making of the physical CD etc. Some of this I have already paid for by myself, but we still need to raise about 3000 euros to make it happen.

It would be so awesome if we can find enough people to donate. As little thank you I thought of some things I can give back! The list is in dutch, so I'll put the English version below! Take a look and maybe there's something in there that tickles your fancy.
