Wat is The Origin of Scarecrow Willy?

The Origin of Scarecrow Willy is de debuut Ep van het nieuwe jonge (Nederlandse) talent, Scarecrow Willy. The Origin is het begin van het ontstaan van het ultieme masker verhuld in een eigenzinnige Americana sound.

Hoe ga je om met de pijn en het verdriet in de ontwikkeling van jezelf!? Hoe word je de beste versie van jezelf, wat kom je allemaal zoal tegen op je (levens)pad en wat voor invloed hebben mensen en (bepaalde) momenten op je leven en muzikale inspiratie en ontwikkeling. Hoe creëer je muziek met een hartslag en een ziel.

Wat staat er op The Origin of Scarecrow Willy?

Op the Origin of Scarecrow Willy staan negen nummers; zeven eigen geschreven nummers en twee covers zijn te beluisteren op de debuut EP. De twee covers komen uit de oorspronkelijke Muppet Movie (1979) en worden op het album vormgegeven met een Scarecrow Willy twist.

Wat krijgen we als we betalen voor The origin of Scarecrow Willy?

Echter is er wel hulp nodig voor het realiseren van deze muzikale droom. De afgelopen periode ( 19 t/m 25 februari 2024) ben ik druk bezig geweest met het opnemen van de EP in Recording studio de kerk, te Niezijl (Zie de making of video daarvan iets verder naar boven) met hulp van Hans Hanneman en is het masteren gedaan door Bauke van der Laaken (Studio Spitsbergen).

Alles is klaar en is het nu eigenlijk dus aan jullie hoe je wil gaan genieten van mijn muziek.Je kunt kiezen uit cd, (audio) cassette of vinyl en het geld van deze crowdfunding wordt gebruikt om dit te kunnen realiseren bij Deepgrooves vinyl pressing plant (te Leeuwarden).

.Hoe gaaf is het: de muziek is opgenomen in een oude kerk en zal geperst worden in een oude gevangenis.

What's the Origin?

The Origin of Scarecrow Willy is the debut EP of the up and coming (Dutch) artist Scarecrow willy. The Origin is the beginning of the ultimate mask shrouded in a idiosyncratic Americana sound.

How you endure hurt, pain and rejection by people who are closest to you is the main inspiration for the songs which where written for the first record. How will you become the best version of you, where does the road you've started to travel lead you and what kind of inspiration do you get from the new memories you make and how do you turn those moments into songs with a heartbeat and (untamed) soul.

What's on the Origin?

The Origin of Scarecrow Willy features nine songs; you can listen to seven originals and two covers on this spectacular debut EP. The two covers are from the original Muppet Movie (1979) with their own (little) Scarecrow Willy twist.

Supporting the Origin?

To realise my musical dreams I need your help.

February the 19th until the 25th I was in Recording studio de Kerk (Niezijl, Netherlands) recording the origin (There's a making of video below) with the help of Hans Hanneman. The mastering of my songs was done by Bauke van der Lakken (Studio Spitsbergen).

All the hard work is done and now it's up to you..., how you want to enjoy my music!?

Do you want to listen to it on cd, (audio) cassette or vinyl!?
The money from this crowfunding will be used to realise this at the Deepgrooves vinyl pressing plant (Leeuwarden, the Netherlands).

The music was recorded in an old church and it will be pressed in a old prison, how utterly amazing is that!?
