Voor wie iets dieper in de buidel kan tasten bieden we een hoop andere rewards, waaronder een workshop met de makers van CLUSTER waar je leert je eigen installatie te bouwen. Vet!

CLUSTER is een initiatief van FAKE ME HARD, de grootschalige, spectaculaire tentoonstelling in Rotterdam die aan de hand van meer dan 40 futuristische installaties een antwoord zoekt op hét vraagstuk van de 21ste eeuw: hoe moeten wij ons als mensen in neon godsnaam verhouden tot alle big data, algoritmes en AI die ons leven domineren?

Naast de centrale FAKE ME HARD tentoonstelling in AVL Mundo willen we dus ook de titanische, door algoritmes aangestuurde performance-installatie CLUSTER van het Catalaanse collectief PLAYMODES naar Rotterdam halen.

Helaas brengt COVID-19 een hoop financiële onzekerheid met zich mee en kost deze giga-installatie een hoeveelheid geld die we niet zomaar voorhanden hebben. De boel faken is in dit geval jammer genoeg niet mogelijk, daarom hebben we deze crowdfunding opgezet.

Het geld dat je doneert wordt gebruikt voor het dekken van de productiekosten die nodig zijn om de performance-installatie op te bouwen.

Uiteraard is onze reality fuck volledig veilig en coronaproof. Als we de crowdfunding niet voltooien of verscherpte maatregelen toch roet in het eten gooit krijg je gewoon je geld terug :)

Vraag: ik wil een ticket + een andere reward. Kan dat?

Antwoord: Sowieso. Doneer tweemaal; eerst het bedrag voor de ene reward, daarna het bedrag voor de andere reward. Wij houden alles netjes bij in onze database en zorgen dat jij de juiste beloning krijgt.

Vraag: hoe zit het precies met die toegangstickets?

Antwoord: we versturen alle donateurs na afloop van de crowdfunding campagne een email waarin we uitleggen hoe je, volledig coronaproof, voor de periode 30 juni - 15 augustus op een dag naar keuze een timeslot kan reserveren om de installatie te bezoeken.

Vraag: wanneer krijg ik mijn tegenprestaties?

Antwoord: tenzij je voor de workshop of ambassadeursbeloning hebt gekozen, krijg je jouw beloning op het moment dat je CLUSTER bezoekt. Dan kan je gelijk je vette sokken of ondergoed aantrekken (als je je daar comfortable bij voelt, uiteraard). Wil je een tegenprestatie, maar kan je onverhoopt CLUSTER niet bezoeken? Neem dan contact met ons op; zorgen wij dat we de spullen naar je opsturen. Wil je iets in het buitenland laten bezorgen? Dat kan, in alle redelijkheid.

FAKE ME HARD (30 juni - 15 augustus 2021) is een spectaculaire nieuwe tentoonstelling van de makers van ROBOT LOVE & TEC ART in en rond AVL Mundo, Rotterdam. Meer dan 40 installaties op het snijvlak van kunst en technologie dagen je uit om de complexe realiteit van de 21ste eeuw te onderzoeken. Hebben wij mensen nog steeds de leiding over ons eigen leven, of bepalen algoritmen en technologie wat feit en fictie is? En wat is de rol van mensen in de samenleving van morgen?

In deze tijden van deepfake-video’s en ongebreideld populisme wordt het steeds moeilijker ‘echt’ van ‘niet echt’ te onderscheiden. Door algoritmes van websites en social media komen we steeds meer in onze eigen bubbel terecht en ontstaan er verschillende realiteiten. FAKE ME HARD laat zien hoe wij ons hiertegen kunnen wapenen door ‘robotproof’ te worden en artificial intelligence (AI) ‘human aware’ te maken.

COVID-19 causes a lot of financial insecurities, and this giga-installation has a high cost. In this case faking it is not an option, so we launched this crowdfunding campaign.

The money you contribute is directly used to cover the production costs made to bring the installation to life. For as little as € 10, - you are rewarded a ticket to visit the installation during a timeslot of your choice - think of it as a presale 2.0 . For those who can contribute slightly more, we also offer a whole slew of other rewards, including funky FAKE ME HARD underwear.

Of course our reality fuck is completely safe and covid-proof, but if for some reason the crowdfunding is unsuccessful or strict corona measures mess things up, you get your money back :)

CLUSTER is an initiative by FAKE ME HARD (June 30 - August 15), the large-scale exhibition in Rotterdam with over 40 futuristic installations. In this exhibition, visitors embark upon a spectacular journey trying to find an answer to the most important question of the 21st century: how in neon god's name should we humans approach all the big data, algorithms and AI that dominate our lives?

Question: I want a ticket + another reward. Is that possible?

Answer: For sure! Donate twice; first the amount for one reward, then the amount for the other reward. We keep track of all donations in our database and we'll make sure that you receive the right rewards.

Question: can you explain how the ticketing works?
Answer: After the crowdfunding campaign has ended, we send all donors an email in which we explain how you can reserve a time slot in the period 30 June - 15 August on a day of your choice.

Question: when will I receive my reward?

Answer: unless you opted for the workshop or ambassador donation, you will receive your reward when you visit CLUSTER. Then you can immediately put on your funky socks or underwear (if you want, at least). Would you like to donate, but are you unable to visit CLUSTER?
