2020 marks the start of a new decade.
With that comes a huge opportunity to take all the talking that's done and turn it into action. A fresh year, a fresh start, time to make a real difference to the future of girls in Amsterdam.

Earlier this year I founded Project Fearless , project-based after school programs for any girl aged 9-14 to get hands-on, break stereotypes, find her voice and create an impact in their community.

Our 8-week, after-school courses are centered around Mind & Movement, Community & Leadership and The Maker's Space, and we recently completed our Pilot Program with 30 girls.We are so proud to have an equal number of English-speaking and native Dutch girls who arrived as strangers and left as fearless friends.

We are on a mission to enable more girls to become engineers, builders, makers, creators or to get to the top of any ladder they wish to climb.
We want to equip girls with the tools to succeed in any aspect of their lives by plugging the gap currently left by society. By enabling girls to define how they see themselves from scratch, we will, in turn, rewrite how the world views girls in general.

Our pilot programs took place in existing community spaces, but with the future of Project Fearless, we believe it is essential to provide both a physical space and an empowering and supportive atmosphere for girls to get the most out of their experience. And most importantly, our Maker's Space depends on it!

We know how to empowering it is to create with your hands and we strive to make this connection within all of our courses. Whether it's our skateboarders creating a hand-made zine or our Design for Impact girl's creating interactive candy wrappers for refugee children to make more friends- making is in our core. Now we are ready to get building! A Clubhouse would allow us to expand our Maker's Space programming and get more girls excited about building, engineering, mechanics and so much more.

Your donations will allow us to create a Clubhouse in Amsterdam where we can run our courses and our girls feel supported and free to push boundaries, break stereotypes and feel empowered. We're starting in Amsterdam but we have BIG plans to make our dreams come true for the future of girls on a global scale.

In 2030, some of our girls will turn 20. Imagine the difference we can make in their lives by starting now .
We need more women from all backgrounds shaping the future of our world, and to have their voices heard they need to be in the room. Imagine how many more women we can get into those rooms if we start now.
We're already working hard to make an impact, but we really need your help.

You’ll be helping us create our space to ensure every girl feels welcome, powerful and included. From power drills and mechanic hooks, to art supplies and workbenches, your contribution will go a long way to bringing all the big and small details of the Project Fearless clubhouse to life.
We're aiming to open our doors in January 2021, if not before!
