About me
My name is Pelle van Esch (17). I started making music from the age of 6 with the goal of becoming a tubaist. When the trombone was offered to me as an instrument I was introduced to the trombone, my direction soon changed to bass trombone. I found trombone a cool instrument and was good at the low register of the instrument (hence the choice for bass trombone). Since I started playing I actually had the goal to become a professional musician.
Future plans
My ambition is to obtain a position in a leading orchestra in Europe or the United States and to pursue a career as a solo-artist and composer.
Awards
I have already won many prizes as a composerand bass trombonist, among others: Prinses Christina Concours (2017), Maassluise Muziekweek (2019) and the composition contest of the Dutch Wind Ensemble (2015). I have also won the title ‘Classic Young Master’ (2017) and with that the support of the foundation Classic Young Masters.
What do I need?
For my further education I need a contrabass trombone. This is a very expensive and handmade instrument that will be tailor made for me at Thein Brass from Bremen (Germany). The total amount needed of € 2.500 I hope to obtain with your contribution.
