About us

My name is Fritz. My wife Arleen and I lived in the Philippines for two years working for a film production company in Cebu. Now we teach film and TV teachers at an international university in the Netherlands. In our spare time, we develop and produce film projects that are close to my heart.

The Albert Schweitzer Foundation in Mactan, Cebu, is such a project. The charity has been caring for orphans since 1995. In 2019, the first orphan with a university degree graduated as social workers.)

About the film

This film explores what it's like to be a social worker in Cebu. We discover how former orphans deal with their painful past by helping others in need. We visit the orphanage to discover what it is like to be an orphan there.

The purpose of this film is to make you feel what it is like to grow up as an orphan in Cebu. Your contribution makes a powerful call to action possible to support the orphanage.

What we do with your contribution

We have already financed all production equipment ourselves. We went to the orphanage last summer and are now planning for production in 2020. But we need another 3300 euros so that we can pay for a professional location sound recordist and build a social media campaign around the project.

Over ons

Mijn naam is Fritz. Mijn vrouw Arleen en ik werkten twee jaar op de Filippijnen voor een filmproductiebedrijf in Cebu. Nu zijn we samen film- en tv docenten aan een internationale universiteit in Nederland. In mijn vrije tijd ontwikkel en produceer ik filmprojecten die mij na aan het hart liggen.
