Ik wil een album uitbrengen met muziek die een wereld van verbeelding bij de mensen oproept.

Fantasy Pop
Zo noem ik het Fantasy Pop. Mijn fascinatie voor filmmuziek en motieven van fantasy/ science fiction films als Matrix en Harry Potter hebben mijn muziekproductie beïnvloed. Daarnaast hou ik van veel verschillende soorten muziek en van verrassende veranderingen. Zo bestaat het album uit nummers gemixt met Hiphop, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Afro, Latin en experimentele elektronische stijlfiguren. Ik voel me sterk verbonden met veelzijdige theatrale muzikanten als Freddy Mercury, Stromae en Prince.

Financiën
De afgelopen jaren heb ik alles zelf gefinancierd uit werk in de horeca maar ook door opdrachten met andere shows, in musicals, reclames en videoclips. Ik ben in de laatste fase waarin ik het album wil uitbrengen, maar ook vanwege de Corona situatie kan ik de laatste stappen (videoclip, album drukken) niet meer zelf financieren. Dus bij deze wil ik vragen of jullie mij willen helpen met het bekostigen van de laatste stappen in het album.

Teksten
Ik ben gaan schrijven als zoektocht naar mijn eigen waarheid en het vinden van vrijheid. Het album is een pleidooi voor levenslust, het achterna gaan van dromen en het accepteren van je verleden.

Konijn
Wellicht vraag je je af, waarom konijnen? Konijnen refereren naar het boek van Alice in Wonderland. Ik voel me sterk verbonden met de absurdistische wereld die daarin geïllustreerd wordt. Deze realiteit wordt ontdekt wanneer de hoofdpersoon: Alice, een konijn achterna gaat in het konijnenhol. The Rabbit Hole stelt de werkelijkheid in twijfel en biedt vrijheid je eigen gevoel te volgen. Ik heb dat nodig en ik wil dat meegeven aan mijn luisteraars. Zo is mijn album als het ware het konijn dat men uitnodigt tot een fantasierijk wonderland (met een knipoog naar de werkelijkheid van nu).

Imaginative world
I want to release an album with music that awakens an imaginative world in people.

Fantasy Pop
I call my (eclectic) music style Fantasy Pop. My fascination with film motives from fantasy / science fiction films like Matrix and Harry Potter have influenced my productions of music. I love many different types of music and unexpected surprises. The album consists of songs mixed with Hip Hop, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Afro, Latin and experimental electronic elements. I have a strong connection with versatile theatrical musicians such as Freddy Mercury, Stromae and Prince.

Finances
In the last couple of years I financed everything myself by working as a waiter, but also through assignments with other shows, in musicals, commercials and videoclips of other artists. I am in the last phase to release the album. Because of the Corona situation I can no longer finance the last steps (the video-shoot & album printing) myself. So hereby I want to ask you to help me pay for these final steps in the album.

Lyrics
I wrote songs about finding my own truth and freedom. The album is about a lust for life, chasing dreams and accepting your past.

Rabbit
You might be wondering, why these strange bunnies? The rabbit refers to Lewis Caroll's book Alice in Wonderland. I feel strongly connected to the absurd world that is illustrated in it. This reality is discovered by the main character, Alice, when she chases a rabbit down the rabbit hole. This Rabbit Hole questions reality and offers the freedom to follow your feelings. I need this in life and I want to pass that on to my listeners. You could state that, my album is in a figurative sense the rabbit that invites people to my imaginative wonderland (questioning the reality that we experience today).

Mundo imaginativo
Quiero lanzar un álbum con música que despierte un mundo imaginativo en la gente.

"Pop Fantasia"
Yo llamo a mi estilo musical: Fantasy Pop. Mi fascinación por los motivos cinematográficos de fantasía y ciencia ficción como las películas de Matrix y Harry Potter han influido en mis producciones musicales. Me encantan diferentes tipos de música y cambios inesperados. El álbum contiene una mezcla de canciones con elementos de Hip Hop, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Afro, Latin y electrónica experimental. Tengo una fuerte conexión con músicos teatrales versátiles como Freddy Mercury, Stromae y Prince.

Finanzas
En los últimos años lo financié yo mismo trabajando como camarero, pero también a través de encargos con otros espectáculos, en musicales, comerciales y videoclips de otros artistas. Estoy en la última fase en la que quiero lanzar el álbum, pero también debido a la situación de Covid-19 ya no puedo financiar los últimos pasos (la grabación del video y la impresión del álbum) yo mismo. Así que quiero pedirle una pequeña aportación de su parte con la finalidad de publicar el álbum.

Letra
Escribí canciones sobre cómo encontrar mi propia verdad y libertad. El álbum trata sobre el deseo de celebrar la vida, perseguir sueños y aceptar tu pasado.

Conejo
Te estarás preguntando ¿por qué estos extraños conejitos? El conejo se refiere al libro de Lewis Caroll: Alicia en el país de las maravillas. Me siento fuertemente conectado con el mundo absurdo que se ilustra en él. El personaje principal, Alice, descubre esta realidad cuando persigue a un conejo por la madriguera del conejo. La madriguera cuestiona la realidad y ofrece la libertad de seguir a tus sentimientos. Quiero transmitir esto a mis oyentes. Se podría decir que mi álbum es en sentido figurado, el conejo que invita a la gente a mí imaginativo país de las maravillas (cuestionando la realidad que vivimos hoy dia).
