Who are we?
The visual artist Sebastian Holzhuber and the pianist Uzi Heymann have been collaborating since 2015 in a broad range of projects and performances that combine piano music and visual arts. Their first performance 'Concert for Annoying and Supporting Angels' was premiered in the Theater Splendor in Amsterdam in 2017, and later performed in the Austrian Embassy in The Hague. What do we want?
Our performances are suitable for international festivals. In order to promote the Golem we need your support to raise an amount of € 1500 to make a promotional film of this performance.
What do you receive for your support?
In return to your support we offer surprising and exciting token of appreciation from us. For example, for a donation of € 50, you will be invited to attend a piano concert of 30 minutes performed by Uzi Heymann or to attend a performance rehearsal in the studio of Sebastian Holzhuber.
These rewards are for you as a donor and a friend you can bring with you.

Who is the Golem?
The Golem is a mythical animated figure from a Jewish legend. It is magically created from clay and brought to life. Golem means “unformed light” and symbolizes the essence of the human being. Sebastian Holzhuber transforms Uzi Heymann into the Golem, symbolizing a mystical birth. The music played by Uzi Heymann reflects the elusive dimension from which the Golem takes its form. The performance portrays the creative artistic process and interaction between the two artists. They mirror each other and sharpen each other’s expression and consciousness. The music played in the performance is by Philip Glass, Max Richter and Eric Satie

Sebastian Holzhuber
