Verzilveren van voorinvestering
Deze crowdfunding helpt mij, beeldend en conceptueel lichtkunstenaar Clifton Mahangoe, vanuit vertrouwen te (voor) investeren in mijn project in Venetië. The Sphere 3d Spectrum is een grote kunstinstallatie die ik reeds op eigen kracht in organisatie en door middel van voor financiering heb gerealiseerd. Het resultaat schittert nu op de grootste en meest erkende biënnale van Europa, The Biënnale Arte 2019the ECC-Italy in Venice, vol trots zijnde eerste reacties meer dan lovend.

Mijn vraag is nu om via jouw donatie mijn ondernemende kant te verzilveren zodat de voorinvestering en het bijkomend vertrouwen naar renteloze derden terug kan en dat mijn werk gedragen wordt door subsidies, crowdfunding en kortingen vanuit materiële partners.

Diverse fondsen, waaronder het Mondriaan Fonds, zijn aangeschreven, de deadline rondom de opening van de Biënnale en toekenning van subsidies kruisen elkaar. Super spannend.

De kristallen schitteren op het werk, duizenden bergkristallen zitten op het werk en deze extra dimensie krijgt dan ook veel lof op de Biënnale vanuit de bezoekers en pers. Als de crowdfunding compleet is zal ook de leverancier van de kristallen hieraan bijdragen.

In februari 2019 heb ik een uitnodiging ontvangen om deel te nemen aan een grote tentoonstelling in Venetië ECC! Dit is onderdeel van de randprogrammering van de Biënnale, hier worden ook dit jaar meer dan 500.000 kunstliefhebbers verwacht. Ik voel me vereerd en ben heel dankbaar dat ik de mogelijkheid krijg mijn lichtkunstwerk te laten zien aan de hele wereld. Om daarmee mijn gedachtegoed te kunnen delen met zoveel mogelijk mensen. This crowdfunding helps me, visual and conceptual light artist Clifton Mahangoe, to (pre) invest in my project in Venice. The Sphere 3d Spectrum is a large art installation that I have already realized on my own in organization and through financing. The result now shines on Europe's largest and most recognized Biennale, The Biennale Arte 2019, the ECC-Italy in Venice, feeling proud about the very frist positive responses.

My request now is to fund my entrepreneurship through your donation so that the pre-investment and the additional trust can be returned to interest-free third parties and that my work is supported by subsidies, crowdfunding and discounts from material partners.

Various funds, including the Mondriaan Fund, have been contacted, the opening of the Biennial and the raising of funds are in the same timeline. Very exciting!

The crystals are shining in Venice on the artwork, thousands of quartz crystals are attached to the artwork and this extra dimension receives positive feedback from the visitors and press at the Biennale. When the crowdfunding is complete, the supplier will donate the crystals.

Mijn nieuwste werk
Ik werk met de nieuwe technieken die ik deels zelf ontwerp in ontwikkel in samenwerking met mijn assistent Nygel Hiralall. Eerder was het mij nog niet gelukt om overdag te projecteren vanuit de 360graden dimensie.
The Sphere Spectrum 2019 creëert een magische lichtspel van zonlicht, daglichten avondrood loopt in elkaar over en in de avond wordt deze zonnebol een geheel van vloeiende prisma beelden die in elkaar overlopen. De zon is hiermee zowel dag en nacht teervaren. het doel van mijn werk is om mensen in stedelijke gebieden te verbinden.

Het geheel is een grote semi transparante bol van 2.4 meter, speciaal reflecterend en doorschijnend materiaal waar overdag de zon op reflecteert, in de avond licht de bol op door overdag gevangen beelden van de zon.

In mijn werk studie ben ik fotografisch aan het werk gegaan met kristallen, water en andere reflecties in samensmelting met de zonnestralen. Exclusief bied ik dit werk in beperkte oplage aan in deze crowdfunding.

Op dit moment zijn de eerste reacties met het oog op het werk te laten reizen naar meerdere tentoonstellingen al gekomen, het is een grote stap geweest zowel financieel-ondernemend als inhoudelijk in afstemming met de organisatie, Venetië

Clifton Mahangoe
_Ik ben Clifton Mahangoe beeldend en conceptueel licht kunstenaar. Mijn werk gaat het over bewustwording van de natuur en weer kijken vanuit een ander perspectief. De zon, de grootste energie en lichtbron waar alles om draait, licht de aarde dagelijks op. Dagelijks zijn wij onderdeel van het lichtspel van de zon en schijnt het licht op alle levensvormen op aarde. Dat maakt dat wij mee bewegen met de aarde en kunnen 'zijn'!_n de jaren negentig gebruikte de Nederlandse kunstenaarClifton Mahangoe als één van de eersten videoprojecties van watervallen en andere natuurlijke fenomenen op levensgrote schermen. Het was iets geheel nieuws, maakte veel indruk en lokte reacties uit. De toeschouwer was ineens dichtbij een waterval, zo levensecht, een stimulerende sensatie.De natuur en de interactie daarmee van het publiek, de verbinding tussen het werk en de toeschouwer, bleef sindsdien een belangrijk gegeven, een uitgangspunt, in het werk van Mahangoe. Door te ontwikkelen, innoveren en nieuwe technieken te gebruiken, heeft het Mahangoe gebracht waar hij nu staat. Inmiddels staat hij bekend om zijn reusachtige bolvormige licht installaties (3 meter omtrek!) met projecties van grootse, natuurlijke fenomenen waar het publiek een bijzondere relatie mee aangaat.

**Een kunstwerk vol levensenergie**
“Het mooie van mijn werk is dat het heel toegankelijk is”, zegt Mahangoe.
“Bezoekers mogen de bol aanraken en worden daarmee onderdeel van het
kunstwerk. Zo breng ik het verhaal achter de installatie op hen over.” Tijdens
de zonsondergang komt The Sphere 3D Spectrum op met langzaam in elkaar overvloeiende en bewegende beelden. De ronde vorm wekt de suggestie van een volle maan. De geprojecteerde beelden geven de wijde omgeving een magische dimensie. “Met de Sphere breng ik verstilling en verbinding in een stedelijke omgeving. In mijn werk komen tegenstellingen samen als harmonieuze partners. In de projectie wisselen abstracte punten en lijnen, beelden en zonlicht, water reflecties en wervelende zwermen vogels elkaar af.”

My newest work The Sphere 3D Spectrum
I work with the new techniques that I partly design and develop in collaboration with my assistant Nygel Hiralall. Previously I had not been able to project during the day from the 360 ​​degree dimension.

The Sphere Spectrum 2019 creates a magical light show of sunlight, daylight turns into sunset and in the evening this sun ball becomes a set of flowing prism images that blend into each other. The sun can be used both day and night. the purpose of my work is to connect people in urban areas.

It is a large semi-transparent sphere of 2.4 meters, specially reflective and translucent material on which the sun reflects during the day, in the evening the sphere lights up by images of the sun captured during the day.

In my work study I started working photographically with crystals, water and other reflections in conjunction with the sun's rays. Exclusively I offer this work in a limited edition in this crowdfunding.

At the moment, the first reactions with regard to getting work to multiple exhibitions have already come, it has been a major step both in financial and entrepreneurial terms and in coordination with the organization, Venice

Clifton Mahangoe
I am Clifton Mahangoe visual and conceptual light artist. My work is about becoming aware of nature and looking again from a different perspective. The sun, the largest energy and light source that everything revolves around, lights the earth every day. Every day we are part of the light show of the sun and the light shines on all forms of life on earth. That makes us move with the earth and can 'be'! _ In the 1990s, Dutch artist Clifton Mahangoe was one of the first to use video projections of waterfalls and other natural phenomena on life-size screens. It was something completely new, made a great impression and provoked reactions. The viewer was suddenly close to a waterfall, so lifelike, a stimulating sensation. Nature and the interaction with it of the audience, the connection between the work and the viewer, have since remained an important fact, a starting point, in Mahangoe's work. By developing, innovating and using new techniques, it has brought Mahangoe where it is today. He is now known for his giant spherical light installations (3 meter circumference!) With projections of grandiose natural phenomena with which the public enter into a special relationship.

** A work of art full of life energy **
"The great thing about my work is that it is very accessible," says Mahangoe.
“Visitors are allowed to touch the globe and thus become part of it
artwork. This is how I convey the story behind the installation to them. ”During the sunset comes The Sphere 3D Spectrum with slowly merging and moving images. The round shape gives the impression of a full moon. The projected images give the wider environment a magical dimension. “With the Sphere I bring tranquility and connection to an urban environment. In my work contradictions come together as harmonious partners. Abstract points and lines, images and sunlight, water reflections and swirling flocks of birds alternate in the projection. ”
