W I E – Pastel Kunstenares Loes Botman. Ruim 25 jaar werk ik als professioneel pastelkunstenares. Dieren zijn mijn grootste inspiratiebron. Hun onvoorwaardelijke liefde en loyaliteit ontroeren mij.

W A T – Een kleurrijk jubileumboek. Als eerbetoon aan de pastels en de dieren wil ik een inspiratievol kunstboek uitbrengen. Tweehonderd pagina’s met afbeeldingen van mijn werk worden afgewisseld met gedichten en essays over het dier. Kleur, inspiratie en bezinning.

W A A R O M – De verhouding tussen mens en dier is wezenlijk veranderd de laatste 100 jaar. De aanwezigheid van de dieren is cruciaal voor ons allemaal. Om deze stille aanwezigheid van het dier te vieren,breng ik een boek uit. Uit liefde voor de dieren en uit vreugde voor een mooie wereld. In de hoop dat steeds meer mensen hun hart openen en zich kunnen laven aan de schoonheid van het leven en de tekenkunst.

H O E – Met jouw steun kan ik de drukkosten voor het boek betalen. Het boek wordt op CO2-neutraal papier en met natuurvriendelijke inkt gedrukt. Omdat ik de pastels “tastbaar” wil maken,streef ik naar de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteit. Elke donatie is WELKOM! Omdat ik blij ben met elke gift, krijg je voor ieder bedrag een uniek cadeau.

U I T N O D I G I N G – Op 14 oktober is de feestelijke opening van mijn jubileum tentoonstelling. Op deze tentoonstelling wordt mijn 25 jarig jubileum als kunstenares in kleuren uitgebeeld en wordt dit boek voor het eerst uitgereikt. Je bent van harte UITGENODIGD om naar de opening te komen vanaf 15.00 uur in Galerie Rijlaarsdam in Nieuwkoop.

A world with animals – is a world full of joy and love. This is the message of my new book “Still lives”.

W H O – Pastel Artist Loes Botman. Since 25 years I’ve been working as a professional pastel artist. Animals are my biggest inspiration. Their unconditional love and loyalty move me.

W H A T – A colourful jubilee book. In honour of the pastels and the animals I would like to create an inspiring book. Two hundred pages with my work will be followed by poems and essays about animals. Colour, inspiration and reflection.

W H Y – The relations between human beings and animals have changed dramatically these last 100 years. The presence of animals is crucial for all. To celebrate their quite presence, I would like to publish this book. Out of love for the animals and out of joy for a beautiful world. Hoping that more and more people can open their hearts to enjoy the beauty of live and art.

H O W – With your help I can pay a part of the printing costs. This book will be printed on carbon neutral paper and with environmental friendly ink.
