CCO3 - een jazz crossover project

CCO3 - Cruise Control On trio - is een project opgericht door gitarist Aktas Erdogan (Istanbul 1987), gitarist Martin van Hees (Groningen 1990) en drummer Nello Biasini (Rome 1991).

3 jonge, getalenteerde musici met verschillende muzikale en culturele achtergronden brengen klanken uit verschillende muziekstijlen en alle windrichtingen samen! Naast arrangementen van jazz standards en bewerkingen van klassieke (gitaar) muziek, componeerd het trio hun eigen muziek met invloeden uit de klassieke-jazz- wereld en pop cultuur.

CCO3 tournee naar India

CCO3 is onwijs trots om te melden dat zij hun eerste buitenlandse tournee gaan doen! Van 30 november tot 10 december zal het trio touren en hun muziek delen op jazz festivals in verschillende steden in INDIA (Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Gurgaon en Calcutta)! Daarnaast geven de musici ook masterclasses en workshops op scholen.

Waarom uw support nodig is

CCO3 nodigt u uit om deze campagne te steunen zodat het artistieke en financiële doel ten opzichte van de reis behaalt wordt.

Door CCO3 te steunen geeft u gelegenheid aan deze jongen artiesten om:
★ Westerse muziek toegankelijk te maken voorhet Indiase publiek
★ Bij te dragen aan muzikale educatie in India
★ Studenten te inspireren
★ Het publieksbereik te vergroten
★ Het verrijken van hun muzikale disciplines
★ De ontwikkeling als artiest

Deze geweldige kans brengt echter wel kosten met zich mee zoals: Internationale vliegreizen, Binnenlandse vluchten (ja, India is een groot land), Onderkomen, Logistiek, Visumkosten, Vaccinaties. Vanwege de kosten die gepaard gaan met de tournee, besloten wij om deze crowdfunding campagne te starten.

Het verhaal achter de muziek

Martin van Hees en Aktas Erdogan delen een vriendschap van al bijna 10 jaar. Zij studeerden gelijktijdig klassieke gitaar aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag onder professor Enno Voorhorst. Aktas en Martin deelden al eerder het podium tijdens grotere projecten op het conservatorium, maar het was al lange tijd eendroom van de twee om samen een project op te zetten waar de gitaar centraal staat en waarin verschillende muzikale stijlen gemixt worden.

Het afgelopen jaar werkten Martin en Aktas aan nieuwe composities gebaseerd op jazzsounds en klassiek gitaar repertoire. Nello Biasini is een hardwerkende en veelzijdige drummer die het trio zijn unieke groove geeft. Met zijn ervaring in jazz- pop- en studio muziek vult Nello de gitaristen fantastisch aan.

CCO3 is een uniek trio die noodzaak voelt om nieuwe muziek te maken waarin akoestische en elektrische sounds gemixt worden in de kleurrijke klanken van snaren en slagwerk.

CCO3 - a jazz crossover project

CCO3 - Cruise Control Ontrio - is a project by guitarist Aktas Erdogan (Istanbul, 1987), guitarist Martin van Hees (Groningen, 1990) and drummer Nello Biasini (Rome,1991).

3 young talented soloists and ensemble musicians with different backgrounds & cultural influences, each of them representing another genre in music (classical, jazz,& pop), bring together sounds from the West-, The East- and the Southern cultures into their music. Apart from arrangements on jazz standards & classic repertoire pieces, the trio is performing their own original compositionsi nfluenced by classical-,, jazz-, world-, and pop music.

CCO3 tours India

CCO3 band is very excited to announce their first tour abroad! They will be touring abroad and sharing their music in INDIA from the 30th of November until the 10th of December, performing on jazz festivals in various cities (Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Gurgaon & Calcutta) and giving workshops and masterclasses at schools.

The story behind the trio

Martin van Hees & Aktas Erdogan share a friendship of almost 10 years now. Both joined the Bachelor studies at the Classical Guitar Department of the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Hague under the guidance of professor Enno Voorhorst. Martin & Aktas have been in the past sharing the stage as a duo or as members of an ensemble and they have been always dreaming of making their own project; to compose and bring together their own styles and disciplines as guitarists. The last year they have been working on composing new pieces together and arranging classical pieces resulting on jazz compositions. Nello Biasini, a great and hard working drummer, joined them and together formed the CCO3 - Cruise ControlOn trio -
