Ensemble Transpoétique is a band created in Amsterdam by bass player Mathias Breton and singer/songwriter Raffaela Herbert. After releasing our first album in 2015, it's now time to make our new album. Our music has developed a lot since our last album, and we feel that now is the moment to make a permanent memory of our present state of mind.
Instead of thinking up front, we want to take this new album in a deeper direction. We're digging out our emotions to bring you the essence of our music. Like a photographic image, we want to capture just a fragment of one feeling at a given time and place.
We have already written the music, and have it prepared in our computer. We’ve been playing most of the songs already for the last two years, perfecting them until they are ripe for production.
Now it is time to step into the recording studio to catch these pieces and to make the right mix for the album. This will require expert work from a studio's engineer, and for this reason we are asking you to help us to bring our work, that we started 2 years ago, to fruition.
