Het begon zo’n 50 jaar geleden en JIJ was er deel van. The Continental Singers. Een “life changing experience”… En jij was er deel van…

Nog één keer meezingen met z’n allen, als ex-Cons uit de jaren ’80 en ’90? Nog een keer..? Dan is dit het moment!

In april 2018 willen we een Europese Continental Reünie organiseren. En waar kan dat beter dan in “De Doelen”in Rotterdam, Nederland.

En jij kunt erbij zijn!

We nodigen je van harte uit om deel te zijn van dit unieke evenement. Een reünie “Continental Style” met een groot concert, een groot Doelen Concert. Eén dag waarbij we samen repeteren, natuurlijk tijd nemen om elkaar weer in de armen te sluiten, maar vooral: ’s avonds een “show” neer te zetten die zijn weerga niet kent. Want zeg nou eerlijk: jij kent toch de partijen en choreo stiekem ook nog?

Het programma richt zich op de gloriejaren van de The Continental (Singers), de jaren ’80 en ’90. Natuurlijk is iedereen welkom die ooit heeft meegedaan vanuit Nederland en de rest van de wereld, maar het programma zal voornamelijk uit “hits” bestaan zoals: Make His Praise Glorious,All Rise, etc. etc.

We willen dit project financieel mogelijk maken door middel van een crowdfunding actie. Dat betekent dat we vooraf alle financiën geregeld hebben, zodat jij je alleen nog maar druk hoeft te maken over de nootjes, je outfit en natuurlijk: hoe zat het nou ook alweer?

En natuurlijk mag je je vrienden, familie, gemeente- en kerkleden, partners (tenzij zij ook ex-Con zijn natuurlijk) van harte uitnodigen als bezoeker voor dit event! Kaartjes gaan ca. 10,- euro kosten,maar als je bijdraagt middels crowdfunding (minimaal 50 euro) zijn de eerste twee kaartjes in de pocket. Je mag natuurlijk ook meer geven. Je kunt ook meteen groep of bijvoorbeeld namens je bedrijf sponsoren. Dit project moet kostendekkend zijn, maar geen van de initiatiefnemers verdient eraan. Mocht erna de kaartverkoop geld over zijn, wordt dat onder de Crowdfunders verdeeld.

Wie: alle (ex-) Continentals die vanaf de jaren 80 betrokken zijn bij deze life changing experience vanuit de hele wereld!
Omschrijving: een oefendag (10 tot 16.00 uur) inclusief“sharing time” in de breedste zin des woord en ’s avonds (20.00 uur) een concert, waar jij deel van bent als je je nu opgeeft en bijdraagt middels de crowdfunding actie!

One more chance to sing along with other ex-Cons? Join in ’80’s and ‘90’s program? One more time Than this is the moment!

In April 2018 we want to organize a European Continental Singers’ Reunion. And where better to be held than in “De Doelen” Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

And you can be part of it!

We invite you to be part of this unique event. A “Continental style” reunion, with a big concert at night, a true Doelen Concert. One day spending together rehearsing, of course take time to catch up and talk to old friends, but most of all put on“a show” at night that has never been seen before. Because we are pretty sure we can; let’s be honest; you still know your parts/music and choreo, right?

The setlist will be primarily hits from the glory years (80’s and 90’s). Of course everyone who ever took part is more than welcome to join, from all over the world and any given time, but the program will be made up of “hits” such as: All Rise, Make His Praise Glorious, etc etc.

We want to finance this project through crowdfunding. That means all finances are taken care of to really kick off our plans. And that also means up to the reunion, you just need to worry about parts, outfits and… how did we do those moves again?

Obviously you can invite your friends, family, church members and partners(unless you married an ex-Con) to come see this amazing concert. Tickets will be sold at Euro 10,- per piece, but if you register through our crowdfunding site and contribute Euro 50,- or more, you will receive 2 free tickets for you to give away! A bigger gift is also very welcome, so feel free to give more if you can and want to! You could also consider contributing with a group or your company! This project is not for profit, but we do want to make sure we can meet our financial responsibilities. None of the organizers receives any financial compensation. If there are funds left after ticket sales, the proceeds will be divided among our crowdfunding partners.

Who: all ex-Continental Singers who were part of one of the tours in any part of the world.
Description: a rehearsal day from 10.00 till 16.00 hrs (including “sharing time”). At 20.00 hrs a concert where you will be on stage if you contribute to our crowdfunding project!
