We nemen onze 2e CD op
De geweldige akoestiek van het Oratorio di Santa Caterina klinkt waanzinnig, vooral voor kamermuziek en al helemaal voor de warme en sonore klank van de cello! Dit weten we zeker, want in zomer 2016 namen we onze debuut-cd al daar op, en nu zijn we terug voor de opname van cd 2.

In 2012 begon ik, samen met muzikale vrienden die ik over de wereld had leren kennen, het Cervo Chamber Music festival. Daar leerde ik "Steinway-Artist" Simon Callaghan kennen. We begonnen op te treden als duo en zo ontstond onze droom om een serie cd's te maken als verlengstuk van het festival.

Deze cd wordt de 2e in die reeks. Samen met Simon speel ik op de nieuwe cd een programma vol levensvreugde met werken van Mendelssohn, Strauss en Fauré.

Vorig jaar hebben we de productie van onze debuut-cd volledig uit eigen zak betaald, het was een groot succes! Maar nu zijn we heel erg blut...

Daarom hebben we jouw hulp nodig. Het zou geweldig zijn als we samen met jullie dit project tot een succes kunnen brengen, en we kijken uit naar onze cd presentatie op 15 dec (Berlijn), 16 dec (Amsterdam) en 17 dec (Den Haag).

In september 2016 verscheen de debuut-cd van het Duo Verzaro (recensie Trouw).

We are recording our 2nd CD!

The amazing acoustic of the Oratorio di Santa Caterina is perfect for chamber music and particuarly for the warm and sonorous sound of the cello! We know this for sure because back in summer 2016 we recorded our debut album, and now we are back to record CD 2.

In 2012, together with musical friends I learned about the world, I started the Cervo Chamber Music festival. There I got to know "Steinway-Artist" Simon Callaghan. We started to perform as a duo, and so our dream came true to make a series of CDs as an extension of the festival.

This CD will be the 2nd in that series. Simon and I play on the new CD a program of ‘joie-de-vivre’ with the works of Mendelssohn, Strauss and Fauré.

Last year we paid for the production of our debut CD entirely from its own pocket, it was a great success! But now we are very careful...

That is why we need your help. It would be great if we could make this project a success, and we look forward to our cd presentations on 15 dec (Berlin), 16 dec (Amsterdam) and 17 dec (The Hague).

Stiamo preparando il nostro secondo CD!

L'acustica formidabile dell'Oratorio di Santa Caterina è perfetta per la musica da camera e particolarmente per la voce calda e sonora del violoncello! Ne siamo consapevoli perché nell'estate del 2016 abbiamo registrato il nostro CD di debutto e ora vi registriamo il secondo.

Nel 2012, insieme ad amici musicisti che ho conosciuto in giro per il mondo, ho fondato la rassegna di Cervo Chamber Music. In un'occasione ho incontrato il pianista Simon Callaghan, accreditato "Steinway Artist". Abbiamo iniziato ad esibirci in duo, e così si è avverato il nostro sogno di produrre una serie di CD come complemento alla rassegna.

Questo sarà il secondo disco della serie. Io e Simon eseguiamo nel CD un programma gioioso con lavori di Mendelssohn, Strauss e Fauré.

L'anno scorso abbiamo finanziato la produzione del debutto interamente di tasca nostra, ed è stato un grande successo! Ma ora dobbiamo fare attenzione...

Ecco perché chiediamo il vostro aiuto. Sarebbe magnifico se anche questo progetto fosse un successo, e siamo ansiosi di presentare il nostro CD il 15 dicembre a Berlino, il 16 dicembre ad Amsterdam e il 17 dicembre all'Aia.
