The Lullabye Factory Analog Mixtape vol. One is een interdisciplinair project waarbij het analoge vakmanschap van beeld en geluid centraal staat.

The Lullabye Factory Mixtape vol. One is hét project waarbij van 10 bands één nummer volledig analoog is geproduceerd en uitgebracht op 500 genummerde Limited Edition platen. De bands op de mixtape zijn DJHAGY, Pure Muna, Sailing To Suez, Two Shakes of a Lamb's Tail, Tumbling Dice, Money and The Man, The Tiger Lovemachine, The Hazzah, DAKOTA en JAGD.

The Lullabye Factory is een 100% analoge opnamestudio, boekingskantoor en platenlabel in de Spaarndammerbuurt in Amsterdam.

Het team van The Lullabye Factory doet niet aan concessies. Ze hebben zich als ambitie gesteld om elk onderdeel van het analoge proces volledig te kunnen beheersen. Alleen op deze manier kan een puur analoog eindproduct worden gerealiseerd.

Analoge geluidsproductie houdt in dat er geen digitale conversie plaatsvindt. Dit betekent dat de geluidsbron eerst wordt opgenomen op tape, de mix op een master tape komt en vervolgens direct vanaf deze tape het drukproces naar vinyl in gaat.

De gehele productie bevindt zich in het analoge domein. Niet alleen de plaat is volgens het analoge audio vakmanschap tot stand gekomen, ook het artwork van de platenhoes wordt ambachtelijk vervaardigd. Foto’s worden ontwikkeld en afgedrukt in de donkere kamer en de illustraties worden verzorgd door de huis-illustrator en gezeefdrukt op de platenhoes.

The Lullabye Factory is uniek in hoe uitvoerig zij te werk gaan om de kwaliteit van het analoge domein te waarborgen.

Het uiteindelijke doel is om de analoge methodieken verder te ontwikkelen en over te dragen op volgende generaties.
Met uw steun kunnen wij het artwork van de platenhoezen afronden. We gaan het ingezamelde geld gebruiken voor het zeefdrukken van de platenhoezen en het afdrukken van de foto's.

Het project gaat ook op tour! Onder de noemer The Lullabye Factory Analog Mixtape Tour vol. One worden er in het voor- en najaar van 2017 in Zwolle, Amsterdam en Utrecht showcases georganiseerd. In een diapresentatie word je door de sound-engineer, de producent en de illustrator meegenomen in het proces en de artistieke keuzes die zijn gemaakt bij The Lullabye Factory Analog Mixtape vol. One.

The Lullabye Factory Analog Mixtape vol. One is an Interdisciplinary Project, where an analog photographer, illustrator and soundexperts work together to realize this project.

The Lullabye Factory Analog Mixtape vol. One is thé project in which 10 bands have one song produced entirely the analog way. The tracks will be pressed 500 Limited Edition vinyls. The bands participating in The Lullabye Factory Mixtape Project are: DJHAGY, Pure Muna, Sailing To Suez, Two Shakes of a Lamb's Tail, Tumbling Dice, Money and The Man, The TigerLovemachine, The Hazzah, DAKOTA and JAGD.

The Lullabye Factory is a 100% analog recording studio in the Spaarndammer neighborhood in Amsterdam.

The team of The Lullabye Factory does not believe in concessions. Their ambition is to fully master every part of the analog process. Only in this way can a purely analog product be realised.

In analog sound recording no digital conversion takes place. The audio source is first recorded on tape and then printed on vinyl. Also the album cover is crafted manually. The entire production is within the analog domain. Photos are developed and printed in the dark room, and the illustrations are made by the house illustrator and screenpressed on the cover.

The team of The Lullabye Factory is unique in how dedicated they are to ensure the quality of the analog domain.
