Mike Marques's First EP Release

Who is Mike Marques?

From working on websites in my room, to playing music on the streets of Europe. My name is Mike Marques, I'm 22, and I am trying to make my next step from singing on the streets, to standing on the stage and working on my own music. Singing has been a passion of mine ever since I was able to produce noises with my mouth and ever since I learned how to play guitar a whole new world of music opened for me.

For my next step, I will create an EP primarily inspired the pop scene, which I'm currently working on. The EP contains 5 songs, each of them having a different story and inspiration behind it. I would love to be able to share it with the world in the best possible quality. But quality doesn't come cheap, and that's where I need your help!

What I need and why do I need it?

Creating and releasing an EP is unfortunately not as simple as recording the song and putting it online. Hundreds of different factors come into play some of which don't even have anything to do with music directly. Many of these things I can fortunately do for free with my own skill set or with the help of my friends and family, but still many more things are necessary.

To assure optimal quality I must first record all songs in a professional studio and by a produced. After that, it needs to be mixed and mastered, distributed and many other things like printing the CDs and creating a clip for the most popular songs. I could go on for hours about the many small things that need to be done to give my EP the best chance of being a huge success. I need help funding this all and that's why I'm asking you to help me realize my dreams.

What to expect from me?

During the development of this project, I will keep everyone involved on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Once the project is finished and my EP is released I will definitely continue writing to release more singles/EPs in the future! Also, I will start performing my EP in small venues all over The Netherlands! This EP is only the beginning for my aspirations within the music industry, many more things are planned to come in the future so getting rid of Mike Marques won't be so easy!

This EP will still be released even if my project is not fully funded, but I am requesting funding to be able to release an as much professionally sounding EP as I possibly could.
