The Jukebox 'CD' Project

Ik neem een CD op met eigenzinnige covers van hits uit de jaren '60 en '70.

I am recording an album with refined covers of sixties and seventies hits.

Why?

This has been on my mind for a long time. Vinyl singles of sixties and seventies pop songs were part of my musical upbringing, not just the beautiful folk music I grew up with. Wonderful melodic songs have appeared in this still unrivaled musical era. My aim is to make a fresh and surprising album of atypical songs in a typical Linde style.

How?

I am hoping you want to support me in financing the recording and the release of this album. To add an extra dimension, I would be thrilled if some of you make me cover a song that I normally wouldn't have chosen myself, but that has a special meaning to you and to someone you love. I would be happy if we can record this album together somehow.

In making the album I want to include some extra musicians to give the songs more finesse.

* I want to restrict the CD project to songs that have appeared as a vinyl single in the sixties and seventies, either A or B side. In case you choose a song, I am not afraid to be challenged (as long as it's not a 'Bohemian Rhapsody' ;-) ).

All shipping costs for the CD's are included.

Be sure not to choose the option: geen tegenprestatie (this is an option without the reward). After the project target is reached I will personally email you about how and when you will receive the reward.

Waarom?

Ik loop al een tijd rond met de gedachte van het opnemen van dit album. Want de vinyl pop singles uit de jaren '60 en '70 waren onderdeel van mijn muzikale jeugd, niet alleen de mooie folkmuziek die ik als kind al hoorde. Er zijn zulke prachtige nummers in dit ongeevenaarde muzikale tijdperk verschenen. Mijn doel is om een fris en verrassend album van atypische nummers te maken in een typische Linde stijl.

Hoe?

Ik hoop dat jullie me willen helpen het album te financieren, zodat ik het op kan nemen en laten uitbrengen. Ik zou het heel leuk vinden als een aantal van jullie er voor zorgen dat ik nummers ga zingen die ik zelf niet zou hebben gekozen, maar die voor jullie een speciale betekenis hebben en voor iemand van wie je houdt. Ik vind het een leuk idee dat we het album een beetje samen opnemen zo.

Ik ben van plan een paar muzikanten te betrekken in de opnamen om de liedjes extra finesse te geven.

* Ik wil het project beperken tot nummers die in de sixties en seventies als een single verschenen zijn, als A of B kant. In het geval dat je een lied inbrengt, ben ik niet bang om uitgedaagd te worden (zolang het maar geen 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is ;-) ).

Alle CD's worden verzendkostenvrij bij je thuisbezorgd.
