THE PROJECT
Morning Blossoms brings together dancers, singers and live orchestra to tell the heartfelt true story of one of the great natural disasters of our time.
Morning Blossoms shows the courage of ordinary people in the face of a superhuman crisis. It asks: how long can you hold onto hope when disaster strikes? What’s the measure of human resilience? Where do you look when your heart is lost? Through the combination of music, theatre and dance we're given an opportunity to consider the fragility and preciousness of own families and lives.
Part of the magic of Morning Blossoms comes from its evocation of the sea. The décor by renowned Scandinavian stage designer Rikke Juellund shows the beauty and danger of the ocean that rises around us all. Together with director Malcolm Rock she's designed an aquatic sculpture comprising over 300 individual origami pieces that will float above the stage (see illustration below). By purchasing one of these origami pieces you'll be making a vital contribution to the creation of this ambitious new production.

YOUR DONATION
A donation of €80 buys you one piece of origami and an invitation to come behind-the-scenes of the production.
Your name, or another name of your choosing, will be inscribed on your origami, which will be added to the décor sculpture and used during performances. The signed origami will be photographed and shared on the ODD Continent Facebook page where you can download it and share it with your friends.
You'll also be invited for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour to see the Morning Blossoms theatre and décor - including your signed origami - close-up.
Be part of one of this year's most exciting new productions by buying a piece of origami for yourself. Or perhaps you'd like to buy more than one piece for a discounted price: a unique and memorable gift for family and friends!
ODD Continent is a non-profit enterprise that relies on public and private donations to produce topical theatre events that define our time. Even a small contribution makes a big difference with total donations from this campaign going directly towards building our important and beautiful Morning Blossoms décor. Higher donations are also welcome and attract more exciting benefits. See right-hand column for details.
