Thank you! 100%! This feels really very good.

…..but, tada! this is only the beginning.

We’ve still got time left (2 weeks at time of writing!); there are still many EPs to get hold of (100s!) - and it would certainly help to raise some more cash (not sure how much yet). But what the hell for, I hear you scream!

Well, where to start.... for one we'd like to treat you to a kick-ass video for 'Blue Waters' (story-boarded, but no means yet to actually make it).

And! We are going to record a second EP in July and August, and planning to release this in September / October. It will feature around 8 songs written over the past year. It will be a vinyl release as well, and we hope to feature more work from Terence Brevé – www.terencebreve.com (if he’ll let us!)

So - here's to the beginning! If you haven’t bought an EP yet, then you can still do so, and this money will be placed under a mouldy mattress in a bunker somewhere very cold - to be retrieved when we start with the next recording sessions.

w a t e r p i s t o l is simple songs, tender lyrics, and brooding rhythms. Songs about love when it’s working and about when it’s not; songs about the mind’s habit of sabotaging itself; about holes and water.

Live, w a t e r p i s t o l is James Powell and Naomi Zeilemaker, bare hands and open throat, mostly unplugged. The music oozes intimacy, honesty and the dreamy feeling of midsummer heat. It makes you want to grab a partner and sing and dance like it’s the first time.

It is now time for w a t e r p i s t o l’s first EP. On vinyl. Because we think it’s beautiful. You can flip a record, you can watch it spin. You can smell it, touch it and taste it (although I wouldn’t do that too often). And of course the best bit; you can hear it.
