Hoi!

Wij zijn The Originators, een elf-koppige Northern Soul-band uit Nederland.

Weet je nog niet wat Northern Soul is? Geen probleem! Wij willen daar verandering in brengen!

We doen met z'n elven namelijk niets liever dan deze muziek te spelen en doen dat nu al een dikke anderhalf jaar.

We treden veel op in Nederland, waar we o.a. op het Big Rivers Festival in Dordrecht speelden en in Tivoli als voorprogramma van de Brand New Heavies, maar we spelen ook in het buitenland, waar Northern Soul al een stuk bekender is. Zo zijn we met kleine regelmaat te vinden in Frankrijk en Duitsland.

En nu..is het tijd om ons debuutalbum te maken!

We hebben de afgelopen maanden hard gewerkt aan het schrijven van liedjes, waarmee we het Northern Soul-virus in Nederland kunnen verspreiden. We hebben gezocht naar een te gekke producer die bij ons past en onlangs zijn we de studio ingedoken om te beginnen met het opnemen.

Met onze optredens hebben we al een beetje geld kunnen sparen om alle kosten te financieren voor het opnemen, mixen, masteren van de liedjes, het persen van de cd's en lp's en het huren van een zaal voor ons album-releasefeest, maar we zijn er helaas nog lang niet.. En daarom hebben we jullie hulp nodig!

We zouden het te gek vinden als jullie ons kunnen helpen en een financieel steentje bijdragen om ons debuutalbum af te kunnen maken. We willen graag onze dank voor jullie financiele support laten blijken, dus uiteraard hebben we hier rechts een mooie lijst met tegenprestaties opgesteld om iets voor jullie terug te kunnen doen. Elke donateur krijgt sowieso een digitale of echte cd, maar we hebben nog veel meer moois in de aanbieding, zoals de overheerlijke taarten van Sophie en Janco, een echte 60's make-up- en haar workshop door Barbra, Maud en Natasja of je krijgt een dagje Chris of Janco als privé-chauffeur.

Kortom: steun ons en we geven je een mooie tegenprestatie ervoor terug, en uiteraard eeeeeeeuwige dank!

a € 250 donation WOW Thank YOU!! In exchange for this generous donation you and 7 of your friends will get a 60’s make up and hair workshop by Barbra, Natazz and Maud at your own home! Also a download of our new album for all of you!

a  € 400 donation WOW Thank YOU!! In exchange we will write lyrics especially for you! You tell us what the song needs to be about and we write and record the new lyrics over one of our existing album songs. Off course you will also receive a signed CD at your home address.

a € 500 donation Thank you SO much! You will receive a “home-concert” of 1 full hour at your place. We: Natasja (leadvocals), Maud&Barbra (backing vocals), Ulrich (guitar), Sophie (bass guitar) and Janco (percussion) come to visit you at home! How cool is that?! You also receive a signed CD and all attendees receive a free download of our new album!
