Who are we

We are a student video production team that is really excited to make this movie a reality. This is going to be our biggest and most ambitious project. It will make you wonder about moral dilemmas yourself. Only with your help we can bring our vision to life!

We are going to make this film a reality with our talented team of four:

Director/Writer - Nichita Jitcov - philosopher at heart, that takes you down a mental rollercoaster.

Producer - Fenna Vulto - the chill pill, making sure we don't go crazy along the way.

Director of Photography - Robert Dǎncǎneț - will create visuals that never crossed your eyes.

Martin Valchev - Editor - the hype man, the one who will make sense of it all.

The Story

In a deserted, dimly lit street, a terrified VICTIM races from his knife-wielding CHASER, until cornered. Facing death, the victim's desperate inquiry about the chaser’s motive unfolds a surreal tale. Through flashbacks, we're introduced to Chris, a lonely young man spiraling into darkness after losing his cherished older brother due to a horrible illness. However, after a gruesome, accidental death caused by Chris, he is transported back in time to when his brother was still alive, giving him the chance to enjoy precious moments with him once again. Yet, this newfound power comes at a sinister cost: taking someone's life is the trigger to activate his time-reversing ability. Each life Chris takes to get back his brother's life drags him deeper into a moral abyss, morphing him into the cold-blooded CHASER. When Chris finally finishes his story and is ready to commit another murder, a fight ensues between the current victim and Chris just as police sirens wail closer. But alongside the police comes his brother trying to stop this terrible cycle of death and suffering caused by Chris.

The dilemma

The big theme in the movie is morality. What is right and what is wrong? How much do the people closest to you really mean to you? Throughout the film, you will see Chris struggling with these questions. As the narrative unfolds, the story will keep coming back to these questions, which allows the audience to reflect on their own moral compass.

What we need & what you get

The goal of this crowdfunding campaign is to reach the goal of €1500. We invest this money to make our movie even better. It will be spent on great actors, transportation and food costs, locations (such as a studio), equipment (lenses, filters, rigs, etc.), set design, a make-up artist, and LOTS of blood.
