April
Not Just a Fair: On 7th-9th of April, we curated Not Just a Fair which is an either art or book fair taking place over 3 days, focusing on printed matter as a transdisciplinary subject. Participants from all over the world, selected through an open call, gather in Arnhem to share their work with you. We created a unique, interactive experience by focusing on co-creation and participation through the experimental workshops and educational sessions by our participants. As for the participating events and stalls, we selected 26 projects from 110 proposals from our open call. We've attracted 180–200 visitors from different cities and even countries at Platform P-OST Arnhem.
June & July
Collective L(a)unch : This is a communal event aiming to group up self-publishers and zine-makers to present their work collectively. This event consists of collective lunch events and zine launches will happen monthly in June and July. We will invite the zine-maker to cook together and host lunch events together with reading, writing, and conversations.
September
Bookstore Takeover: in collaboration with Limestone Books in Maastricht, we are invited to curate a 1-month bookstore takeover.
October & November
"What can we do in the library?" : In October and November, we will activate our Not Just a Library space to curate activities such as workshops, talks, and performances. We use the theme to discuss what the library can do and how the library as a public space can become a community for gathering.
Supporting us in creating communal events and an art community that expands the boundaries of publishing from the traditional 2d space into an interactive and immersive experience.
For more details on the fair, including participants and programme, visit our website and Instagram.

How would you help us?
As international artists and researchers living in Arnhem we noticed a lack of events focused on publishing. Thanks to our kind friends Platform P-OST , we have a (temporarily) permanent space to host the event and build up a physical community. However, we are aiming to make the program more fruitful by gathering self-publishers and experimental artists from different cities and even countries outside of the Netherlands, for which we require extra funding.
Applying for traditional ways of cultural funding has proved difficult in our current form as an international collective of independent creatives. Therefore, we hope to find people that share our passion for the printed matters to help us in realising the programme 2023 for Not Just a Collective.
Your kind donations will go a long way to support our collective and make our program 2023 happen!
