Wie zijn we? Hallo daar! Wij zijn vierde jaars Fashion Design studenten van de Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. Wie zijn we?
Hallo daar! Wij zijn vierde jaars Fashion Design studenten van de Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. We zijn gepassioneerd over ons vakgebied en bereiden ons voor om de professionele mode industrie te betreden. Wij vormen een collectief van ambitieuze en aspirant-ontwerpers met individuele
waarden en inspiraties als het om mode gaat.
Wat doen we?
We willen de onze studie graag afsluiten met een knaller! We organiseren een modeshow
op 29 juni om ons werk in een professionele setting te presenteren. Deze show zal opgenomen en vrijgegeven worden voor de kijkers, om de kijkers te laten ervaren wat de
verbeeldingskracht van onze getalenteerde leden is. De modeshow genaamd 'The Gig 23' vindt plaats in Pre-reserved, Studio C in Amsterdam; Een
absolute droomlocatie van ons die al ons harde werk zeker ten recht zal doen. De
studenten werken hard om een ervaring te creëren voor de kijker waarbij de visie van design en creativiteit duidelijk wordt. Met het organiseren van de modeshow is het mogelijk een soepele overgang te creëren voor de studente om het werkveld als individuele kunstenaars te betreden.
Wat hebben we nodig?
Om deze modeshow te kunnen organiseren hebben we een doordacht budget nodig voor:
- Locatiekosten
- Logistieke kosten
- Licht- en geluidsapparatuur
- Film- en fotografieploeg
- Backstage crew
- Horeca
- Modellen
- Haarstylist en visagisten
Wat kun je doen om ons te helpen?
We as The Gig 23 collective, are asking you to help us achieve our goal. With your contributions, it will enable us to fully realize and bring our vision to life. We are raising 8200 euros to give each student the opportunity to express their creativity, present and tell their story through a professional fashion show.

Who are we?
Hello there! We are aspiring 4th year Fashion Design students from Willem de Kooning Academy in
Rotterdam. We are passionate about our field and preparing to enter the professional
industry. We formed a collective of ambitious and aspiring designers with individual
values and inspirations when it comes to fashion.
What are we doing?
We would like to end the journey of study with a bang! We are organizing a fashion show
on June 29 to present our work in a professional setting.
This show will be recorded and later released for the viewers to experience the curious
imagination of every single one of our wonderfully talented members. The fashion show
called ' The Gig 23 ' will take place at Pre-reserved, Studio C located in Amsterdam; An
absolute dream location of ours that will definitely do all of our hard work justice. Each
student is working hard to create an experience by presenting their work and bringing in
outsiders into their world of design and creativity and have a smooth transition into the
work field as individual artists.
What do we need?
To be able to organize this fashion show we require a thought-out budget for:
- Location cost
- Cost of logistics
- Light and sound equipment
- Filming and photography crew
- Back stage crew
- Catering
- Models
- Hair stylist and Makeup artists
What can you do to help us?
We as The Gig 23 collective are asking you to help us reach our goal, which will enable us
to fully realize our vision and bring it into life. We are raising 8200 euros to give each student a chance to express and present their work and tell their story through a professional fashion show.
