Book Launch

Dear friend, donator, supporter,

This update to remind you that the book launch will take place on Saturday afternoon 18 March 2023, from 3 to 6pm at Gallery WM Amsterdam. Both Sebastian and myself will then be present.

The launch will be in combination with a 3 days exhibition featuring a small selection of works from the book as well as other works not previously exhibited, including 14 paintings of gas stations by Cees Smit.

This exhibition will take place on Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March from 1 to 6pm.

In case you cannot make it to the Saturday launch, you're welcome to come and visit the exhibition on one of the 2 other days (and of course - in case ordered - collect the copy of the book).

For those unable to attend, we will mail you your copy.

Dit bericht om nogmaals te bevestigen dat de boekpresentatie plaats zal vinden op zaterdagmiddag 18 maart 2023 van 15.00 tot 18.00 uur in Gallery WM Amsterdam. Zowel Sebastian als ikzelf zullen dan aanwezig zijn.

De lancering wordt gecombineerd met een 3-daagse tentoonstelling van een kleine selectie van werken uit het boek en andere niet eerder getoonde werken, waaronder 14 schilderijen van tankstations van Cees Smit.

Deze tentoonstelling vindt plaats op vrijdag 17, zaterdag 18 en zondag 19 maart van 13.00 tot 18.00 uur. In het geval het jou niet lukt om de zaterdag 18 launch bij te wonen, dan ben je van harte welkom om op een van deze dagen de tentoonstelling te komen bezoeken (en natuurlijk - indien besteld - jouw exemplaar van het boek op te halen).

As you already know, our crowdfunding campaign has been successfully completed.

Dit bericht om te bevestigen dat onze crowdfunding -campagne nu formeel ten einde is. Zoals gezegd is het een zeer succesvolle campagne geweest die onze verwachtingen heeft overtroffen.

Nogmaals bedankt aan iedereen die door zijn/haar contributie dit project mogelijk heeft gemaakt.

We really made it. Not only we met our original goal but on top of it we also met (and exceeded) the new goal we had set 2 weeks ago to allow cover design costs and other additional expenses.

The order for the printing of the book has now been confirmed with De Boekdrukker in Amsterdam. The final proof print has been approved yesterday and we are now awaiting a confirmation of the book delivery date which should be around mid-March.

We plan to organise a book launch in March at Galley WM in Amsterdam. The exact date will be communicated within a couple of days. Stay tuned.

We made it! We reached yesterday our 100% goal. This is a fantastic achievement and beyond all expectations.

Beste vrienden, familie en kunstsupporters. We hebben zojuist de 80% bereikt in onze campagne voor ons boekproject "Searching for the Soul of Service Stations" van Paul Schaublin en Sebastian Rypson Truly. Dit is geweldig en we zijn zo dankbaar voor jullie steun! Natuurlijk, met het risico open deuren in te trappen; we zijn er nog niet helemaal! Today we were informed that the Prince Bernhard Foundation (Prins Bernhard Cultuur Fonds Noord-Holland) granted an amount of €750 to the project. This is fantastic news, very encouraging and motivating.

Thanks to this grant, our campaign is now at 73%. This is a great achievement.

Once again thanks for everyone who has supported the project so far.

We still have 27 days to reach our goal of 100% to realise the book (the campaign ends at the end of the month).

De campagne is nu 2 weken aan de gang en wij zitten op 50% van ons doel. Dit is een geweldige prestatie. Hartelijk dank aan iedereen die ons tot zover heeft gesteund. Uiteraard zijn wij er nog niet .
