Maat Saxophone Quartet heeft een nieuwe CD over fado muziek - "Renascer"

MSQ ontwikkelde een heel programma dat traditionele fado liederen en moderne muziek samenbrengt. Hoe?
- Het kwartet verandert zichzelf in een kwintet en voegt in dit programma de typische PORTUGESE GUITAR toe, bespeeld door António Carlos Costa.
- De moderne muziek van dit programma is geïnspireerd op traditionele fadoliederen van de beroemde gitarist Carlos Paredes.
- MSQ herneemt deze (vergeten) liederen en geeft ze een nieuwe kleur!
- De gitarist, António Carlos Costa, schreef speciaal voor dit project en deze CD originele fadoliederen.

Maat Saxophone Quartet has a new CD around Fado music - “Renascer”

MSQ developed a whole program that brings together traditional fado songs and modern music. How?
- The quartet transforms itself into a quintet adding in this program the typical PORTUGUESE GUITAR, played by António Carlos Costa.
- The modern music of this program is inspired by traditional fado songs of the famous guitar player Carlos Paredes.
- MSQ revisits these (forgotten) songs and gives them a new color!
- The guitarist, António Carlos Costa, wrote original fado songs specially for this project and CD.
