Een boek! Help je mee?

Mijn naam is Hinke Schreuders, ik ben beeldend kunstenaar. Sinds 2002 maak ik met de hand geborduurde werken, op stof en op papier. Werken die, hoewel klein van afmeting, al je aandacht vragen - vol details en vondsten, verfijnd, betoverend en ongemakkelijk tegelijk.
Dat doe ik nu al twintig jaar, een mooi moment voor een retrospectief.

Mijn naam is Hinke Schreuders, ik ben beeldend kunstenaar. Sinds 2002 maak ik met de hand geborduurde werken, op stof en op papier. Werken die, hoewel klein van afmeting, al je aandacht vragen - vol details en vondsten, verfijnd, betoverend en ongemakkelijk tegelijk.
Dat doe ik nu al twintig jaar, een mooi moment voor een retrospectief. Om alles bij elkaar te zien en te hebben. De ontwikkeling van mijn werk zichtbaar te maken. Een overzichtstentoonstelling op papier. Een boek! Wil je me helpen dat werkelijkheid te laten worden?

Het maken van zo'n boek is kostbaar, want ik wil het goed doen. Professioneel vormgegeven, met veel beeld, afgedrukt op fijn papier en mooi gebonden. Een tekst over mijn werk, en misschien een interview. Daarbij heb ik jullie hulp nodig. Eind november zal het boek, met de titel 'She dressed slowly', worden gepresenteerd tijdens een tentoonstelling met nieuw werk bij galerie Brinkman & Bergsma in Amsterdam. Bij deze ben je uitgenodigd bij de presentatie om het daar te komen halen - maar ik kan het natuurlijk ook (kosteloos) aan je sturen.
Meer over mij
In 1995 studeerde ik af aan de AKI kunstacademie in Enschede. Sindsdien ben ik fulltime aan het werk geweest als beeldend kunstenaar. Mijn werk werd tentoongesteld in galeries in Amsterdam, Londen en New York, en in musea waaronder Textielmuseum Tilburg en Kunsthal Kade in Amersfoort. Het is opgenomen in particuliere en bedrijfskunstcollecties als de AKZO Nobel Art Foundation, het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken en de Erasmus Universiteit.

A book! Will you help?
My name is Hinke Schreuders, I am a visual artist. Since 2002, I've been making hand-embroidered works on fabric and paper; works that, although small in size, demand all your attention — full of details and discoveries, refined, enchanting and uncomfortable at the same time.
I have been doing this for twenty years now, a good time to look back and reflect; to see and have everything together; to show the development of my work. A retrospective on paper. A book! Will you help me make that a reality?
Your support
Making an art book is expensive, because I want to do it right. Professionally designed, with lots of images, printed on fine paper and bound beautifully. More about me
I graduated from the AKI Academy of Art & Design in Enschede. Since then, I have been working full-time as a visual artist. My work has been exhibited in galleries in Amsterdam, London and New York, and in museums including the Textile Museum in Tilburg and Kunsthal Kade in Amersfoort. It is incorporated in private and corporate artcollections like the AKZO Nobel Art Foundation, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
