OVER ONS

Wij zijn het Dianto Reed Quintet, een kamermuziek groep opgericht door vijf jonge Spaanse muzikanten woonachtig te Amsterdam sinds 2020. Sindsdien wonnen we de volgende prijzen gewonnen:

Eerste Prijs van het Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours 2021; Storioni Competition 2021 en XV Concurso Nacional de Música de Cámara Villa de Cox 2022. En we zijn een van de vier finalisten van Dutch Classical Talent 2022-2023. Deze prijzen bieden ons vele kansen in de huidige Nederlandse Muziekwereld. Zoals optredens op de Nederlandse televisie, verschillende Nederlandse radioprogramma’s en concertoptredens door het land.

WAT IS IDENTIDADES?

Identitades is het project dat we willen presenteren voor het seizoen 22/23. De première vindt plaats gedurende het tournee van Dutch Classical Talent Tour van september 2022. We hebben tot doel een creatieve connectie te maken tussen Nederlandse en Spaanse tradities en het Nederlandse publiek onze roots te tonen door een programma naar Nederland te brengen gebaseerd op Spaanse muziek en folklore.

Er is niet veel repertoire gearrangeerd voor het Reed Quintet en in het geval van Identitades moet het speciaal gearrangeerd worden. Bovendien, zoals we het doen vanaf de oprichting, zal de gehele performance vanuit het hart worden gepresenteerd.

Om Identitades een beleving te laten zijn en naar een hoger niveau te tillen, willen we Spaanse poëzie toevoegen gerelateerd aan muziek, scenografie, choreografische performance en met de hand gemaakte kostuums speciaal ontworpen voor dit speciale programma.

WE HEBBEN UW HULP NODIG!

Uw hulp is cruciaal bij het tot stand komen van Identitades. Als finalisten van Dutch Classical Talent, zal de organisatie ons startgeld geven en daarmee gedeeltelijk de kosten vergoeden. Toch hebben we nog 7.000 euro meer nodig om het programma volledig te ontwikkelen. Met het opgehaalde geld kunnen we tegemoetkomen aan alle mensen die meedoen aan het project, nl.:

• Arrangeurs, die de muziek geschikt maken voor deze specifieke formatie.
• Een regisseur, die ons gedurende het creatieve proces op het podium begeleidt.
• Een mode-ontwerper, die voor ieder van ons kostuums bedenkt en uitvoert.
• Een filmmaker, voor een promotie-video alsmede een documentaire, die het maakproces vastlegt.

ABOUT US

We are Dianto Reed Quintet, a chamber music group formed by five young Spanish musicians based and founded in Amsterdam in 2020. We have been awarded with the First Prize of Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours 2021, Storioni Competition 2021 and XV Concurso Nacional de Música de Cámara Villa de Cox 2022, and we are one of the four finalist of Dutch Classical Talent 2022-2023. These awards provided us many opportunities in the current Dutch music scene, such as playing on national TV, different national radios, and also several concerts through The Netherlands from 2021.

WHAT IS IDENTIDADES?

Identidades is the project we want to present for the 22/23 season, that will be premiered during the tour of Dutch Classical Talent from September 2022. We aim to creatively connect Dutch and Spanish traditions and show our roots to the Dutch audience, bringing to The Netherlands a programme based on Spanish music and folklore.

There is not much repertoire arranged for reed quintet and, in Identidades’ case, the music has to be specifically arranged for this project. Also, as we have been doing since the very beginning, we will perform everything by heart.

In order to present Identidades as an experience and take it to the next level, we will include some Spanish poetry related with the music, scenography, choreographic performance and custom maid outfits designed for this special program.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Your help is crucial to be able to completely develop Identidades. As finalists of Dutch Classical Talent, the organization will provide us with the necessary amount of money to start the project and cover a part of it. However, we still need 7000€ more to fully develop it! With the money raised via crowdfunding, you will be contributing to reimburse the costs of all the people involved:

• Arrangers, who will adapt the music for this very specific formation.
• A stage director, who will guide us during the creating process on the
• stage.
• A fashion designer, who will create concrete and tailored outfits for each of us.
• A filmmaker, who will help us to create a promotional video and documentary of the whole process.
