We are a team of passionate filmmakers. Some of us are experienced film industry professionals, others double up as consultants during weekdays - but all of us feel it's crucial (today, more than ever) to:
- Make short films with meaning portraying strong female leads;
- Give a voice to those among us who have served time in prison, bringing into focus the difficulties they face after they are released. Prison is intended to rehabilitate, not exclude.
THE STORY
A young woman, fresh out of prison: Foxy.
The gang leader that landed her in there: Buffalo.
An alluring waiter at the local bar: Elefas.
In one word: Beasts. There is one in all of us.
Will Foxy crumble under the pressure and complete one last job for Buffalo when he comes knocking? Will she be able to resist the temptation and find the strength to go straight? Will Elefas get tangled up in a life of crime by Foxy's beautiful eyes?
THE RECOGNITION
We are delighted to have been recognized by PRISMA Rome Independent Film Awards. Before we begin production, our script won an award for Best Short Screenplay at a festival internationally recognized by the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).
