Wij nemen je mee in het begrijpen van het complete verhaal achter de favoriete Indonesische gerechten van de Nederlandse bevolking! Dit wordt de allereerste aflevering van onze documentaire serie: Authentically Flavoured.

Nederland en Indonesië delen samen een rijke en pijnlijke geschiedenis. Toch geloven wij dat deze documentaire een impact kan maken op de huidige en toekomstige generatie om te begrijpen wat het verhaal achter verschillende Indonesische gerechten zijn!

WIE ZIJN WIJ?

Wij zijn vier jong professionals en studenten op verschillende gebieden van media.

Elizabeth (21): Vanuit Indonesië ben ik naar Nederland gekomen om te studeren. Met Authentically Flavoured wil ik graag mensen introduceren aan onze gerechten en cultuur. En nemen wij je mee in de wereld van Indonesische gerechten met behulp van Wayan’s perspectief.

Nisrina (23): Ik ben geboren en getogen in Nederland, met roots in Suriname en Indonesië. Met dit project hoop ik de kijkers te inspireren. Daarnaast wil ik delen waar ik trots op ben en wat vanuit mijn perspectief uniek is aan wat ik deels mijn cultuur kan noemen.

OVER AUTHENTICALLY FLAVOURED

Wij laten zien welke impact Indonesische gerechten hebben gehad op de Nederlandse cultuur. Dit doen wij door het persoonlijke verhaal van Wayan, eigenaar van Restaurant Bali in Breda, te vertellen. Wij nemen je mee in een verhaal vol geschiedenis, authentieke gerechten en het verhaal achter de gerechten die Indonesië vertegenwoordigen.

WAAROM HEBBEN WIJ DE FINANCIERING NODIG?

Om ons documentaire te realiseren hebben wij jullie hulp nodig!

Dit bedrag hebben wij nodig voor o.a. het financieren van onze filmapparatuur, Assistant Editor en DOP (Director of Photography/Cameraman). Bekijk hier zijn werk!

Wat als we dit streefbedragniet halen?

Zonder het streefbedrag van €1500 kunnen wij de documentaire Authentically Flavoured niet realiseren. Dit betekent ook dat wij ons schoolproject niet af kunnen maken.

We are taking a deep dive into a better understanding of the full story behind the Netherlands’ favourite Indonesian cuisines. This will be the pilot episode of the documentary series: Authentically Flavoured.

The Netherlands and Indonesia share a rich and painful history. Yet we believe that with this documentary, we can make an impact on current and future generations to understand the story behind various Indonesian cuisines!

WHO ARE WE?

We are young professionals and students specializing in various aspects of Creative Business and Media.

Elizabeth (21): As an Indonesian myself, I really want to make people know more about our food and culture. With this documentary, we’ll take you through a Journey from Wayan’s perspective.

Nisrina (23): I grew up in the Netherlands with roots in Surinam and Indonesia. With this production, I hope to inspire our viewers and would like to share what I find unique and what I am proud of.

WHAT IS AUTHENTICALLY FLAVOURED ABOUT

We will be showing which impact Indonesian cuisine has had on the Dutch culture. Through the personal story of Wayan, owner of Restaurant Bali in Breda, we will take you on a journey full of history, authentic food and the story behind the cuisines that represent Indonesia.

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR FUNDING?

In order to realize our documentary Authentically Flavoured, we are in need of your support!

We need a total budget of €1500.

Every donation from you counts to realize this tasteful project!

This money will cover the outsourced DOP (Director of Photography) who will film our documentary. Check out his amazing work! It will also cover the expense for our assistant editor.

We would like to show the sponsors of our documentary our gratitude. This will be a tasty surprise!

But, what if we do not receive our crowdfunding?

Unfortunately, we won't be able to realize our documentary Authentically Flavoured. This also means that we won't be able to finish our amazing university's project.
