Hi there! I want to record some beautiful music for all of you, and I need your help!
My name is Davina, I moved to Rotterdam from Italy 4 years ago to study and graduate at Codarts Conservatory - Jazz music. I was already performing a lot in the Netherlands when suddenly I got selected to perform at North Sea Jazz festival in July 2019... An unbelievably great experience! That's when I understood it was time to shift my focus to my original music. Today, I have ten songs ready to be recorded and fantastic musicians to do that. The plan is to enter the studio in January. But, in order to release an album, there are costs to be covered:
- recordings/studio
- mix and master
- the musicians
- the artwork
- the press of the physical albums
This music is really important to me as it marks my first step of my career as a songwriter, and I hope you will help me make my dream come true!

ABOUT ME:
I grew up listening to all sorts of music: from the '50s musicals to Sting, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, lots of Jazz and Latin music! Ever since I've been performing, I found the chemistry between me and the audience simply fascinating, and I can never get enough of that!
As a songwriter and a story-teller, I am deeply inspired by our inner feelings as well as social/cultural and environmental issues that characterize our generation. The power of music and lyrics, or, even better, the power of art in delivering an important message is incredibly huge, and I feel the need to use that superpower not only to create something beautiful but also to reach out to people, sensitize them and trigger a moment of reflection about what is happening to us these days. All this inspiration comes from the fact that the last years have been filled with events of pregnant significance and terrible consequences (terrorism, racism, the wildfires, covid-19, to mention a few...).
Now I finally feel that the right moment for me to make my own statement as an artist has come. Hopefully I can share it all with you! Thank you for your support, I will make something absolutely special out of this record.
