In the Corona virus outbreak, our Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art, needs your help.
The mission of the Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art is to educate and spread awareness to an (inter-)national public about contemporary Tibet-inspired artworks and their themes. We do this by exhibiting contemporary artworks made by artists with Tibetan roots. These include artforms such as live performances by contemporary Tibetan artist Tashi Norbu (see video).

By giving, our Museum is helped to stay alive and carry on with its mission to spread HH Dalai Lama Principal Commitments in the world:
-
The human values of compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment and self-discipline.
-
Encouraging harmony among the world's religious traditions.
-
Preserving Tibetan language and culture, the heritage Tibetans received from the masters of India's Nalanda University, caring also for the protection of Tibet's natural environment.
-
Reviving awareness of the value of ancient Indian knowledge among young Indians in contemporary society.

We are raising funds to get the museum ready and tested by the National Museumregister in order to develop the museum to a higher level and get recognition in the country and the world as a National accredited museum. We want to use all possibilities to reach an international audience with our beautiful and diverse core collection of contemporary Tibetan art.
Already recognized by the province of Drenthe, and having passed the pre-registration test, we are now eligible to carry on with this reliable accreditation process, designed in accordance with the requirements of the Dutch norms, to make our Museum officially registered on the lists of the Museums in Holland.

The National Museumregister will test our museum on a set of quality norms. These norms acquire a variety of changes, innovations, and developments of the museum concerning business operations, -the conservation and exhibition of- the collection, education, and the public.
In the Coronavirus outbreak, our Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art needs your help. Temporary closure resulted in not sustaining its usual income for three months which the museum needed to invest in its development to get through the museum registration.
To conclude: The process of preparation for the museum registration is helping the museum to develop in multiple ways and become even better as a cultural organization in the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands. Will you help us to become a registered museum?

Dear Friend,
I spent each day of the past thirty years of my life as a Painter and I sacrificed all the “shoulds”, for what my heart lead me to create through Art, pushing myself out of what’s comfortable and into what’s unknown. A life that was inspiring and thrilling that came from action, from experimentation, from the fire and the chaos as well as the big wins. Moments full of Art I loved to share with you through my “Live Painting Performances”.
And here the Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art in Emmen, in the North of Holland, dedicated to the Tibetan Art and Culture, flourishing the Buddhist moral values in the World. I have poured tremendous time of Art, thoughts, and love in this Museum and if you find any joy and stimulation here, please consider supporting it by donating.
And if you already donate, from the bottom of my heart,
Thank You
Tashi Norbu
