“Outside through Within” is the title of the upcoming graduation show of masters Non Linear Narrative of the KABK.

At Non Linear Narrative we, as artists and designers, work with journalistic, artistic and forensic research methods to create narratives that better encapsulate the complexities of our world. By building narratives that deconstruct and reconstruct how we think about the world, we aim to look differently at socio-political issues.

In “Outside through Within,” the culmination of deep research, testing and making, we’ll show work that grapples with topics ranging from family dynamics under patriarchy to the transformative power of gardening. From the economy of attention to the relationship between architecture and soil. From the allure of economic palaces to our collective memory of war, and the unique experience of being an art student.

We’re working hard on building the exhibition and to realize this, we need support for materials, transport, equipment and printworks. In return, we can give you a sneak peek of our projects or send you our latest publication.

“Outside through Within” is de titel van de afstudeertentoonstelling van de master Non Linear Narrative van de KABK.

Binnen Non Linear Narrative maken wij, als kunstenaars en ontwerpers, gebruik van journalistieke, artistieke en forensische onderzoeksmethodes om te complexiteit van de wereld te vatten. Door het heroverwegen van de vertelling van onze realiteit proberen we een frisse blik te werpen op sociaal- en politieke vraagstukken.

“Outside through Within” is de samenkomst van maanden research, testen en maken. De tentoonstelling bevat werk over patriarchale familiedynamiek en de politieke kracht van tuinieren. Over de economie van aandacht en de verhouding tussen grond en architectuur. Over winkels die zichzelf “paleis” noemen en onze gedeelde herinnering aan oorlog. Over de unieke ervaring van studeren aan een kunstacademie.

Wij zetten alles op alles om de tentoonstelling een succes te maken, en daar hebben we jullie hulp voor nodig! We hebben hulp nodig om de kosten van materiaal, transport, promotie en apparatuur te kunnen dekken. In ruil voor jouw hulp lichten we een tipje van de sluier van ons werk of krijg je onze meest recente publicatie.

De beloningen zijn als volgt:
